Trips for Kids Dunkirk is part of the Northern Chautauqua County Boys & Girls Club in Dunkirk, New York. Many of our participants come from the Club's membership and from the local Big Brother and Big Sister program that is also in the B&G Club. We take youth on 4-5 co-ed rides each week throughout the summer months and enjoy the wonders of Western New York along the shore of Lake Erie. We have numerous logging and fire roads throughout our county and have a great multi-use county trail network that allows us access to great trail riding too. Our rides usually involve a 4-hour event consisting of riding, eating, cycling or nature lessons and swimming at one of our local rustic camp sites that doubles as our "Master Camp". We have a very enthusiastic group of both girls and boys enjoying all aspects that Trips for Kids Dunkirk will have to offer! In addition to the rides, TFK Dunkirk plans to add new activities and forge new partnerships with other biking and nature organizations that will enhance the learning and experiences appropriate for our program's participants.
